Blue Water Lounge
This martini bar draws city folk and suburbanites alike, with its candle-lit high-top tables, curvy bar and intimate, casual atmosphere. An outdoor water garden nearly doubles the seating space during warmer months, and the crowd is super diverse -- co-owners Gregg and Gina Gall have seen a 21st birthday and an 80th birthday celebrated here on the same night. The martini menu boasts more than 100 choices, and all are served in whopping 10-ounce glasses. Dessert-inspired martinis such as the frozen peanut-butter cup and white-chocolate almond are big hits. There's no kitchen here, but it's cool to bring in carry-out from nearby restaurants, and there's also a free appetizer buffet every Monday starting at 4 p.m., featuring munchies from different local caterers each week. Stop in Thursdays (Ladies' Night) for half-price Stoli cosmos.
