Streeterville karaoke bar Cafe Shino, a favorite for Japanese tourists and business travelers, has relaunched as Murasaki. The karaoke has moved to a back room, rentable for private parties of up to 15, but the rest of the lounge maintains its transported-to-Tokyo feel. Nosh on Japanese-inspired small plates and cocktails, such as a pear-tini spiked with sake, served by an all-Japanese staff. And as for the name, it's a nod to Lady Murasaki, a Japanese poet and novelist.
