This was the second and last trip I will make to Bob San. Not the best selection of rolls plus they are very small, not all that great tasting, and expensive. So many better sushi options.

Fresh, interesting, tasty, well-prepared sushi, plus the best Sour Apple Martinis in town. Stylish enough to please, but much friendlier (not to mention easier on the wallet) that the trendier joints.

Value, service and the fact that this entire restaurant is smoke-free (including the bar!) makes this an easy choice for dinner and drinks. If you are a smoker that can't last a nice meal without lighting up then move along. For all us non-smokers in a smoke-stack city, this is a true delight. The sushi is fresh (remember, no fish on Mondays) and even though it may not be cutting-edge, the usual is done very well. I can easily recommend Bob San to anyone looking for a nice reshreshing sushi meal.

My favorite sushi place in Chicago. The menu choices are fantastic and the food is excellent. (And if you want their food delivered - try their sister restaurant Sushi Naniwa. Same delicious food right to your door.)

We heard from a friend that BOB SAN was a nice place. While we have been to some other great places in Chicago we trucked it on over to BOB SAN.
Their service is very friendly with smiling faces to boot! Food is outstanding and PIM, our server, is the "bomb"! Once you get the check, and you haven't partied like a rock star, you will be very pleased with the value. So for those who did not have a good experience at BOB SAN then you haven't really been to BOB SAN. Our favorite haunt!
