This steaks, chops and pasta spot has replaced Samba Room, though both concepts are owned by Orlando-based E Brands Restaurants. Timpano bills itself as a classy culinary retreat, with deep-hued leather banquettes, tall windows and the bright-white tablecloths and dark wood ladder-back chairs characteristic of a big-city chophouse. Starters include tuna carpaccio with lemon aioli and citrus-glazed jumbo prawns. Steak options included dry-aged, char-grilled, bone-in and organic, with the menu rounded out by a ravioli of the day, Italian classics such as chicken marsala and parmesan and a handful of a la carte side dishes.
