Right near the river in downtown Geneva, this is the first west-suburban franchise of Sanfratello's, a family-owned pizzeria with four south suburban locations. A fan of Sanfratello's for 30 years, owner Jim Gibbons runs this location, with floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides of the restaurant anchoring the upscale yet casual decor. The pizza -- thin-crust and pan -- is what the Sanfratello name is known for, but the homemade lasagna and slow-roasted Italian beef sandwich have also garnered rave reviews.
