Co-owner Jim Higgins describes Club Lucky as a 1940s-style supper club and cocktail lounge. The bar area is an exact replica of what was there in 1938. The signature drink is a killer martini -- shaken, not stirred, with hand-stuffed olives. You can dine in one of the lounge's red Naugahyde booths or in the 140-seat dining room. The menu includes several Sicilian specialties, served in generous portions. "We wanted to do the old family values," says Higgins, who is part Sicilian. "Big portions, family-style service, reasonable prices and good cocktails." Desserts and pastas are all house-made. Fun Fact: The aluminum and glass light fixtures in the dining room are replicas of pieces that were in the Empire State Building when it was built.
