The name of this Irish pub, located on the ground floor of Daniel Burnham's Insurance Exchange Building, means "kiss my ass" in Gaelic. The interior aims for that classic pub feel with a turn-of-the-century bar that has plenty of Harp, Guinness, and Smithwick pouring from it. Originally opened in 2004 as an upscale steakhouse, owners quickly made changes, paring back the ambitious menu in favor of more traditional bar fare. As it turned out, less was more: The huge 9-ounce burgers have gained a national rep as among the best in the country. New management also sped up service to please that always in-a-rush Board of Trade crowd, who crowd the spot for lunch and postwork gatherings. The menu features other favorites like wings, nachos and mini burgers, but also includes salads, sandwiches and freshly carved turkey.
