Sometimes you gotta go where everybody knows your name
By kompany33 from Wicker Park, November 23, 2008

This has been a great bar for a long time now. The staff is friendly from bartenders on down to door guys. They all really seem to enjoy their job; it shows and makes the place a ton of fun! After an afternoon of drinking you feel like you belong there. Pricey . . . . maybe but welcome to Chicago. If you want a $2.50 pint of lager move to Wisconsin. Stop by and enjoy!

Boo to the prices
By madscot from wicker/buck, July 5, 2008

While the staff has always been accommodating and prompt, I was outraged at the idea of paying 6.50 for a pint of beer. I have lived in the neighborhood long enough to see the changes come, but when a new joint like Boundary can offer a better beer list for a better price, I shake my head in disappointment. Boo Pint-- cut the prices and be cool again.

I'm fond of Pint..
By barbean75 from Brookfield, April 23, 2008

I have been here about twenty times and while it's not the most exciting crowd, I always get a greeting from the doorguy and the waitress and bartenders actually smile when they take my drink order. If you like a laid back atmosphere and a place to chill with friends (and you can actually hear what they are saying) Pint may just be for you.

stopped in friday afternoon for a late lunch and a beer with plans to meet friends at seven down the street. Great Food, Great staff, and a Great atmosphere. At 7 pm., (yes I was still there with some people I had met at the bar) I called my friends and convinced them to alter our plans and join me at Pint. Anyway we closed the place that night and went back for brunch on sunday. I cannot remember our servers name but she made us feel so welcome I thought I should let everyone know. I am not someone to write about a bar, or write a critique, but you should put this one on your list right now.

Good food, good service and fun atmosphere
By Brian from Lincoln Park, October 26, 2007

Checked out this place for the first time last weekend with friends. We had some
drinks and apetizers before ordering dinner. The waitress with the southern
accent was attentive and offered some great suggestions. The food was
very good and I had to try this chocolate dessert which was out of this world! I
should have ordered two because there was not much left after my friends had
try some of it. We all enjoyed ourselves and we will be back.

One of the worst bars in Chicago
By jake from old town, October 21, 2007

Overall rating:
1

I've been in Chicago for over 10 years and have been to every bar in wicker park, bucktown, and lincoln park. I've never experienced a worse atmosphere in my time here. The staff were rude and thought they were doing me a favor by even acknowledging me at the bar. All of my friends said what a crappy experience this place was, but I thought I'd give it an honest try. One of my friends said the owner came around and basically was the most condescending person she'd ever met. I guess the place is consistent. Bucktown has a lot of great places. This should be LAST on your list.

The most frustrating and terrible...
By Bob from Chicago, IL, September 5, 2007

Overall rating:

The most frustrating and terrible service I have had in 7 years in Chicago. It took us over 30 minutes after we asked for the check for us to be able to leave. The waitress was snotty and rude, and snarked several times at us because we asked if we could split our $100+ bill or pay some with cash and the rest on a card. She said that it was 'ridiculous that we would come to a restaurant without everyone having enough cash to pay' and actually had the gall to tell us that because of this we were no longer welcome at the restaurant.
