Lizzie McNeill's Irish Pub: User Reviews
Lizzie McNeill's Irish Pub

This bar has it all, great outdoors, nice well kept beers, straight forward good quality food.....But the downfall is the service. Totally unusable for lunch times ( I work around the corner) , unless you are sat at the bar and can holler .....as a group we have been let down now at least on 4 occasions.
Report This ReviewThis is officially the best Irish bar in Chicago, if you want Guinness and a laugh this is the place to be.
Report This ReviewI was there over the winter a couple times. Food was good and service was great. Very friendly bar. Ben the bartender was very informative and fast. They also have a pet fish mascot named Larry or Steve. I forgot.
Report This ReviewIf you ever get a chance to try one of these Bloody Marys--do it. I would recommend getting them from the bartender named John. I stopped in the other Saturday morning, John was very friendly and made the best Bloody Mary I have ever had.
Report This ReviewI was visiting Chicago from Washington D.C. staying at the Sheridan next door and was referred to this bar. I sat in the patio along the river that had a great view of the city. The food and Guinness was very good. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The bartender gave me good information about places to visit while I was in Chicago and I was not disappointed. I would highly recommend this bar to anyone visiting Chicago on vacation.
Report This ReviewI have to agree with Peter. I was there the other day and they have a wide selection on premium wines. I was also very impressed by their draft beer selection. When ever I am in the area I will definitely come back!
Report This ReviewI feel bad about the bad comment I just heard because it was a little untrue- stop by after a jog and Ben the bartender informed me of their new wine list, which I thought was great. Had wings that were great and then had a decent sandwich, will be back when the outside opens this weekend to take on the views of the city.
Report This ReviewYou'd think this place would get it right. Could be the best outdoor space in the entire city. Stale bread and the worst wine in the city. Pretty hard to screw up bar food but Lizzie's does its best.
Report This ReviewGreat time there, especially with the two bartenders Patrick and Josh, who they call Pipes. They could be Abercrombie models, they are so good looking. It wasn't on the menu but they definitely serve eye candy!
Report This ReviewThe last time we were here was in the summer. It has great outdoor seating. But stopping by for lunch on a November Saturday was a huge disappointment. The beer selection was slim. The one we selected wasn't available after considerable wait. Ordering Guinness should have been an adequate second choice, but the beer was very poorly kept. It tasted old. I've had better Guinness from a bottle. Food - OK, but not great. A place we thought we could count on, but we'll never go back.
