Tom O'Donnell, a native of Galway, Ireland, has brought a touch of the Old Sod to Chicago's Mount Greenwood community with live Irish music on the first Sunday of every month. Amateur guitarists, flutists and fiddlers who can play a lively reel or two are welcomed. These musical offerings are enjoyed by neighborhood folks. Don't be surprised if the person next to you speaks with a brogue, as Lanigan's attracts a large number of Irish nationals who live and work on the Southwest Side and Near Southwest suburbs.
