Excellent beer selection, excellent chili. Nice ambiance. Shared light but interesting laughs with bartenders Kelly and Stephanie aka Zoe. Replayed the evening in my head the next day and smiled.
Report This ReviewThe wings at Fearons are the best i've tasted in the city, I go there a lot and have seen the staff problems others have commented on but i have also seen that they have changed the staff and have gotten rid of the unhappy ones. The staff there at the moment for the most part are very help full. There is a great atmosphere for the Cubs and Bears games. And i will continue to eat and drink there with my friends. i love the place. And the food is great.
Report This Reviewreading these bad reviews kind of puts me off. i had a bloody great time there last wednesday. our waitress, of whom i forgot her name (some blonde girl), was very attentive and actually sat down with us and had a conversation with us. not to mention she was extremely good looking. i felt welcome and really enjoyed my night. dont listen to these other reviews. totally worth a visit! i know ill be back.
Report This ReviewI live in the area and I've been to this place a few times, it is an enjoyable place, good environment yet i cant help be put off by the staff. They are not very friendly or even seem that they want to be there. That isnt totally true, there is one bartender a girl by the name of keri whom does make the experience truely worth it. Friendly and outgoing a real treat. Props to her....i honestly wouldnt stay if anyone else was working.....you wont feel welcomed at any other time. A better staff/managment would go a long way at improving the experience at Fearons
Report This ReviewThere is a reason this summer Fearon's patio looks like a ghost town. Last summer it seemed their business was doing great, with a beer garden full of families and young people from the neighborhood. That's because they used to have a friendly staff and good service. This summer, after being scowled at by a frowning, rude waitress for an hour and a half, and then having our kid totally snapped at by a bartender for simply sitting on a bar stool (when we had to go inside ourselves to fetch drinks since our waitress was nowhere to be found), we will not go back. They seem to view customers as a pain in the butt these days. Too bad since we live around the corner and went every Friday night for dinner last year.
Report This ReviewWe had sloooow service. Our waitress disappeared. All we wanted was our check. It's a shame since I live right down the street. Would have been a good place to frequent.
Report This ReviewI've only been there twice, and both times I got above average service. The first time I went there was to watch a little footie in the A.M. and even though it was pretty dead, the bartender wasn't sappy about being there. The second time was Thanksgiving this year and the bartender was phenomenal despite some creepy guy singing karaoke horribly. Plus they have Carlsberg on tap, that alone gets 3 stars in my book.
Report This ReviewThe food is great but too bad they raised all the prices! You used to be able to get the Tuesay burger special for $4 with a generous portion of onion rings or fries. Now they charge $5, give you like 4 fries or they charge extra for onion rings! When will you get a full time waitress???
Report This ReviewBlah! Awful experience as the service was horrible. The waitress did not want to be there, or serve us. She was slow and we had to wait forever just to get our check, pay and get the hell out of there.
Report This ReviewI found this place by accident recently since other local bars were too crowded. We loved our sandwiches and we were impressed by the attentiveness of our waitress. I'm excited to find another local hang with good food and a decent atmosphere.
