We've been going to Corcoran's for years and it is hands down the best neighborhood bar in the city! GREAT staff and management, really good burgers and did I say Great staff and management? Sometimes I wonder if the youngsters that are coming in know the wonderful history of the building. Vaughns - make a placard and educate your consumers!!! We love you guys

Not for middle agers

If you are over 35 you are not welcome at Corcoran's. After many years of eating there and even celebrating my birthday on occasion, the place has changed. Friday when we went husband and I never were voluntarily waited on, when the young ladies at the next table, who had sat down long after we had were brought menus and drinks, we flagged down the sever only to be told he did not work outside. When the sever did come, I asked if 2 mini sandwiches came with a side she said she did not know, order a side, not she will find out. When my sandwiches came, with a side, I thought if I take the stuffing out of one and put them together I would have the beginnings of a sandwich. She did not bring condiments, and did not return to ask how our meal was. I finally got up and got the condiments, that is when we asked to speak to a manager. His attitude was "Well, so what." The next day when we spoke to neighbors who also used to enjoy going there many had had similar experiences, they were too old to be welcome there, and like us these people used to be regulars.

My friends and I go to Corcoran's almost every week for half priced appetizers on Mondays. The atmosphere is great, especially in the bar in back and the staff is always super friendly.

Nice place for a meal. 8 or 9 beers on tap, good atmosphere, and great lunch specials. The portions are good size too. Highly recommend and will definetely visit again.

Best burger deal in town on Tuesdays and most other days. Where else can you get a 10 oz all beef burger with fries for $4. Drinks are decent but could be cheaper but "hey" this is Chicago!!!!!

i think corcoran's is a fun, cozy pub. plenty of great beer on tap and the food is good too. a nice place to stop for a drink before or after a second city show. very friendly staff!
