Loving the Quizzo!

My friend has been raving about the Quizzo, which is pub trivia, so I finally joined her on Wednesday. And let me tell you, it was definitely good times! I wish we had an extra person on our team though; we struggled a bit with the Sports questions :) If you've never been, this is definitely a great night to stop by, especially since domestic Table Tappers are on special for 12 bucks!

Not really easy to find but you can't beat the $3.99 Burger w/fries on Saturday & Sundays ! I went with a big group & like the atmosphere.. It was a bonus we could watch serveral different games... Staff & service was Great ! Nice Job Amanda

I'm a long time customer of the Celtic Crown, and it is usually a great time at an affordable price. Many of the complaints that I've seen are about the service, and at times it can be frustrating. The food is terrific and most of the staff is attentive (ask for Carrie by name) , however, you do get the occasional distracted waitress which has had me looking elsewhere. I keep coming back as the cost to fun ratio is hard to beat. Quizzo on Wednesday nights is an exceptionally good time.

I have been going to Celtic Crown for a few years now, and it never fails that each time I go, it gets worse and worse. Not only have they raised prices recently but they seem to be changing their menu constantly (and not always for the better) and the service is the only thing that is consistent, consistently bad!! This used to be one of my favorite places to go, even after I moved out of this neighborhood into Bucktown, but it is no longer worth my time and definitely not my money.

If you're looking for a place to get full and buzzed for less than $20, then this is the place. The food is decent and if you stick to the daily specials, the prices are incredible! Great place to watch a game especially during the day since this place gets absolutely no sunlight!

Celtic Crown: 4 different environments, great weekday deals, happening place on sat. nights.....Good place if you just want to sit and chat, have some bar food!
Treat the server good, they'll remember you next time you come inn.

This place is actually real cool. Its a funny and friendly atmosphere and the people that work there are real cool, despite what these other fokes say. Good, cheap bar food. Good specials and if you stick around till close the girls that work there will invite you along with them for afterhours drinks elsewhere.

Went yesterday afternoon, and there were a total of about 9 people in the whole place. Service was TERRIBLE, the one server on duty was more concerned about checking her cellphone messages in PLAIN SIGHT of customers (as well as discussing the merits of said cellphone with the one bartender) than getting us the waters we requested no less than THREE times! Food took about 45 minutes to get (other people who arrived 20 minutes after we did got their food first), and my burger was overcooked, came with bacon that I didn't request(and was charged extra for). I'll never return....

Tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt by going 3 times. Each time it got worse and worse. The first time the tater tots were cold. Second time was $1 burger night and our server took our initial order and we didn't see her again for another 45 minutes. I had to track her down and she forgot about us. The last trip we didn't even get someone to acknowledge us for the first 25 minutes. The service is God awful and the food is average. Not worth going to and worrying about if you will even get served when there are so many more quality restaurants in the area.
