My friend and I went to the Blarney Stone after a cubs game last night; it was fun! The crowd was fun and lively, especially because it was a Cubs Win!!! The prices where reasonable especially given its proximity to the Stadium. The staff was a delight, especially Ann!. I think everyone should go there after a cubs game!
Report This ReviewThis place is cash only - so keep that in mind if you stop by. I actually just started going there but have sort've become addicted. There's nothing glamorous about it (which I like in my neighborhood bars!!). It has a pool table, dart boards, golden tee, and a juke box. It's a lot of fun. And for cheap pitchers, $1 kamakazee shots, you can't go wrong. It's hard for me to spend half of what I used to spend somewhere else at the BS.
Oh, and you can get a sloppy joe for a buck. Who else can do that for you???
Report This ReviewGreat Service from a sassy bartender who likes to have fun with her patrons. Drinks are well priced and well poured. Food is outstanding, absolutely the best wings in town and for half price no one can bet it.
Report This ReviewHands down, Blarney Stone is the best bar in Wrigleyville to booze up before a Cubs game. $1 Kamikaze shots and $2 PBR drafts sure as hell beat the prices inside the Friendly Confines. Bartenders are friendly and prompt, there's always ample seating, great old tunes on the jukebox, and the trendy crew often overlooks Blarney Stone for the Cubby Bear-type places.
Report This ReviewChicago's Blarney Stone was horrible!!!I was there the first week in May and the service was bad they don't know how to treat customers!
Report This ReviewIts all about what you are looking for that night but if you are looking for a chill place with good music and good people and drinks that are more than worth your money this is definitely a place to stop by. The service is quick, and there are enough TV's, dart boards and games to keep you occupied for a night.
Report This ReviewThere's nothing better than a family owned establishment that has friendly service, inexpensive drinks and food, and an atmosphere that invites good conversation. I love the BS!
Report This ReviewIts a great place to hang out, especially since its renovation. Cool atmosphere, great locals always willing to have a chat or play you at pool. Its everything a city bar should be.......
