My parents had a 5 hour layover at O'Hare and wanted me to join them for dinner. Mom didn't want to leave the airport, and without a ticket I couldn't get into the terminal. Which meant dining at the Airport Hilton. What a great find it turned out to be . This place is a total throwback, with 1890's decor, as interpreted in the 1970's. Waitresses who show leg, big drinks, piano bar etc. But what was really unexpected was the quality of the food. I was expecting average fare and was served a truly outstanding rib steak. My father had the wienershcitzel which he said was excellent, and mom had a chicken breast that she pronounced quite tasty. A memorable meal at a most unlikely location

I love this place. It has a 1920's atmosphere, food was outstanding and the service is wonderfull. It may be a little pricey but worth it.
Report This ReviewThe food was lacking but that's not the reason for going to the Gaslight is it. Our waitress was overworked and inattentive but great to look at. The piano player was good but was best when he did not sing.
It's an anachronism that is worth at least one visit.
