Metromix gave this place over 4 stars...and when we got there, "we were thinking is this it?" It was pretty small. The Bar area felt like a kitchen. Maybe, it was the low ceilings. Not sure but probably won't make a effort to go there again...
Report This ReviewMy girlfriend and I went to C-View last Sunday night, and the atmosphere was great! We both enjoyed a bottle of Pinot and each other's company. The outdoor bar is smaller than expected but the indoor portion has great views none the less. I will definately be returning...Great service, reasonable drinks, and relaxing atmosphere
Report This ReviewA great little romantic place with a great view. Had lobster club sandwiches & very yummy fries. An excellent date place!
Report This ReviewI am a huge fan of C-View. I've been about 10 times this summer already and can't get enough. Service is very good! They are quick at bringing drinks, which is great. The drinks are well-made but pricey, but that's to be expected. I've never eaten the food at C-View, so that's something I've yet to do. The space itself is awesome and I love the plants and the umbrellas and very cool view to the west. I keep coming back here because it never lets me down, and I always have somewhere to sit - the long bar with the tall chairs outside is awesome and great for eating and conversation. By far one of the best hotel lounges in Chicago!

This is a chill spot to start the night with a couple drinks. Soft sounds of chill trance flow throughout the bar adding a pleasant soundtrack. Cocktail's run about 10.00 a drink while martini's run from 13.00. Excellent wine selection, a glass of Pinot Grigio will compliment the sky line view as you peer through the glass walls.
If your going for dinner, think again. they offer a very compact appetizer like menu. But they offer free bowls of Petrige farm Gold Fish to snack on. Food ranges between 12-20 per dish.
The view alone is worth making the stop, nested atop the hotel on the 29th floor the bar offers indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area has glass walls surrounding you with no roof above you. Great views, so make sure to go at night for the better scenic experience.
Valet available for 13.00, parking around the area would be difficult.
This is a great place to mingle, and the crowd is late 20's to late 30's
Report This ReviewI went to this bar on a Tuesday after a business meeting around 4pm. My partner and I were the only ones in the joint but it picked up more after 5. This bar has great views and a nice feel to it. We had some appetizers and although they were good they were very, very tiny and took forever. The service was alright but did not seem experienced, spilled my drink and didn't know the whole bar menu. Also they do not offer and energy drinks of any sort; I tired to order a Red Bull Vodka and found this out.
Also they offer a rooftop bar which looked like a great place to be however the 90 degree weather kept us indoors.
