Located just off the lobby of the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, this lounge draws a mix of hotel guests, professionals and bargoers with a sophisticated rock ’n’ roll edge. The once dark, edgy space known as Base Bar and renamed Rocks has now returned to the original name. Grab a stool at the tucked-away bar or settle into a couch with views of who’s checking in and checking out. An upscale bar food menu is available when hunger strikes.

Keeping an eye on the stock market will come in handy when drinking here: Peak Organic beer, wine and cocktails start at a base price of $5 every day, with one cent added or subtracted for every point that the Dow Jones rises or drops.
