Heard the blues playing on Halsted Street one night, and followed the music into this bar. GREAT band, (nice surprise that there was no cover either!) and the kitchen stayed open until 3 a.m. Food was pretty good too! I have been since and found that the owner is usually around and is generous with buying shots if you start up a conversation (and manage to throw in a good joke). All in all, a great find in Chicago, highly recommend.

We found ourselves at this place by accident on Saturday night - we heard the live blues band playing as we were passing by. The band was GREAT, really really great!! I had never heard of this place before but we had such a great time. Also, the food was absolutely delicious (we had shishkebob sandwiches and flaming cheese). This place is like a little treasure in the city. I am definitely going again next Saturday for the blues!!!

This little bar has one hidden treasure...the food! The souvlaki (Greek for shishkebob) is the best I have ever had, it was really delicious, very tender and savory. The charbroiled steak sandwich is also amazing, and the kalamari as well. The bartender was really great, too, she brought me some halloumi cheese (from Cyprus), she said it is the only place in the city you can find it! Overall, it is a pretty mellow place, good to hit before and after the clubs, and always when you get hungry!
