This is a great bar for hanging out with the friends, watching some show tunes, and having an alcoholic smoothie without the pretense.

Gay or Lesbian friend in town for the first time, and they want to go out? Send them to Sidetrack. I always send clients there and have never had a bad report. Bartenders are friendly, remember what you are drinking, and are helpful in directing you other local spots (if they are not swamped, which can be the case at times).

Went there for the first time on my 21st and have been going back for the last 4 years. Been to a million gay bars and this one is by far my favorite. Great bartenders, laid back guys with no attitudes, lots of hotties....always meet great people there. During the Gay Games I had VIP tickets to almost every major club event, but at the end of the night I just wanted to be at home in Sidetrax so thats where I went-- 8 nights in a row!

I came here for my 21st, and it was pretty much the most amazing night of my life. The people who go there are very nice, bartenders were great, and it was an overall great experience. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Saturday was the first time I've ever been to Sidetrack. WOW!!! is all I can say. I originally went for Gay Idol to cheer a friend on but ended up staying and dancing. The people were great and didn't care that I was a hetero having a great time with my g/f. I have to give credit to the bartender upstairs on the patio he was GREAT!! I believe his name was Vince?? If I go out- I'm going to Sidetrack. The bar is huge, there's a mixed bag of people- and you're guaranteed to have a good time.

Definitely among the top of my favorite bars of all time. The atmosphere(s) is great - it's such a big place that you'll find a spot for the kind of mood you're looking for. They have five bars, which includes an upstairs porch and a non-smoking room. The bartenders are THE BEST and we've met some great friends here.

Easiest to get into. Ample coat check. Good-looking, friendly bartenders who make it a point to remember what you're drinking. I find the crowd extremely fun all the time. For all you guys who claim there is attitude there, try making the first move (while you're still sober) and initiate conversation sometime. You'll find the men will actually talk back.
