Miramar

301 Waukegan Ave.

Highwood, IL 60040
847-433-1078
The name may be Cuban, but this spot from Gabriel Viti is mostly classic French bistro. Unlike his fine-dining Highwood spot, Gabriel's, this space creates a much more casual vibe with reasonably priced menu, mojitos and daiquiris. Entrees include skate grenobloise with lime and croutons, shrimp de jonghe, lamb shank and a variety of seafood. A sandwich and salad menu features bistro fare like a Lyonnaise salad, tuna nicoise and croque madam, but also offer a Cuban-style pressed ham and cheese.
