People Lounge's Baris Yuksel is behind this Division Street pub in the former Vintage Wine Bar space. The focus shifts from vino to brews, with a half-dozen English and Irish imports on draft, from Smithwick's to Boddingtons. Instead of sharing a pitcher for your crew, go in on a 80-ounce beer towers with a built-in core of ice -- especially smart if you're hanging out on the sidewalk patio on a blistering summer day.
There's not much Irish influence playing into the cocktail menu, laden with cherry cheesecake martinis and Mexican cosmos, though a long list of specialty shots gets a few nods with Leprechaun's Gold, Baby Guinness and the Emerald Rocket. Rather than going for staunchly traditional Irish fare, the menu has fun remixing Irish influences, such as mac and cheese with a Guinness-spiked sauce, "Celtic wontons" filled with goat cheese and a B.L.T. made with Irish bacon. Weekend brunch offers a handful of options, from Grand Marnier French toast to breakfast sliders topped with Irish cheddar.
