Overcrowded with wannabees, RUDE service, bad drinks (e.g. mojitos were made with a mix, watered down and a mint leaf dropped on top) and VERY EXPENSIVE! folks actually wait in line for this!!!! Totally OVER-RATED. Conrad Hilton (over Nordstroms) is a much better choice.

At Roof as I type this. Great view of the city. Nice drink selection as well as hard to find beers like the elusive Kwak!

I visited Roof this past Friday and don't have enough good things to say about it. The ambiance is beautiful, the fire features are super cool, the people are gorgeous, the drinks are a bit pricey but well made, and the layout of the place is just fantastic. I had a mojito, the rasberry something (kinda sweet for my taste) and many vodka sodas which, although small, were very good. The lamb burgers are amazing, and the chocolate mousse dessert is FANTASTIC!! I will be going back to Roof as soon as I get my next paycheck, because my wallet is significantly lighter after this visit - but its worth it!!!

I've been to Roof twice, once on a cold night and once on a warm evening. Both times the host staff have been warm and welcoming, the food was great, and the drinks were pretty good if expensive. The space is very beautiful and this should be a great place to party during the summer. Even on a chilly night, the inside is sexy and fun.

I first came here on a Friday night and had to wait 45 minutes to get in and find that there was plenty of open seating. No waitress ever approached our table so we went to the bar to get our own drinks. Waited 20 minutes at the bar to get a drink. Service was slow all night even though it wasn't over crowded.

After this experience I thought I'd give it another shot on a Monday evening. No wait and many open spots to sit. The waitress got our drinks but never came back to get our food order or bring us a second round. With so much potential, this place really needs to pick up their game.

Pros: Drinks are good and the place has fun decor and a nice view. No cover. Good music.
Cons: Terrible wait staff, unnecessary line at the door.

This place is visually stunning and has a cool list of cocktails. The are pricey, but that is to be expected at a hotel bar. Metromix and Daily Candy both claim this place has a telescope but they don't. As far as having an amazing view, its average. You can see the river and the park but there is no view of the Sears or Hancock, and barely one of trump. Worth Checking out for one or two drinks,
