To all the people who gave Vision a bad score because of the music...do your research first! Vision is the best place to go to in Chicago for Electronic music, whether it be Trance, Progressive, Techno, Minimal, Psy, whatever! The best producers/djs in the world are flown in every weekend to play here and people pay $50+ to see them.
There is your mainstream crap hip hop offered as well in another section of the club, but be forewarned... the reason why theres no one in there is because people come to Vision for the electronic music!
The atmosphere in vision is unlike any other club in Chicago. People love it here, it is their second home. I've been to Vision over 60 times in the last 2 years.. ill be back for more.

Vision night club is one of the best clubs around in the US. I have spent tons of time in this place. Me and my friends would come out from Indiana and spend the weekend in chicago we all went as far as renting a apartment right down town. Every time we came out we would try different clubs but we always ended up @ Vision. The top level bartender Jay is great a real showman. The rest of the staff is just as impressive. The club caters to a variety of music with, House, techno, Progressive, and Euro. They don not even hide this fact which makes it great going once makes it predictable, other than the fact that you will need a map the first time to navigate because the place is massive.

My friends and I decided to go to Vision for New Years and we were not disapointed. Everyone had a great time. The Music was good, staff was freindly, and the atmosphere was incredible. The place was huge and it was still full to capicity if you dont like crowds then this is not the place for you.

I went to Vision as part of an after-party for New Year's Eve. Let me tell you that we got a weird vibe at the place, and the atmosphere was just strange. The fog machines made moving around difficult, and the bartenders were really slow. The music was far too loud, and the strobe lights end up making this look like a creepy rave party. I was not impressed.

The Crystal Method at Vision

I went to Vision for the first time on Saturday to see The Crystal Method. I had an awesome time. The place is HUGE! I guess it's connected to Excalibur too, so that would explain how big it is. We walked in through the Dome Room (which I guess is the main part of Vision) and the DJ's there were playing mixes of songs I hear on the radio. The bars are easy to get to, it seemed like all I had to do was turn around to get a drink. The staff was really friendly too. There are so many rooms and different environments it was hard to decide where I wanted to be. The bartender in the Penthouse was loads of fun, a real showman. The Crystal Method really played a great set, the crowd was totally pumped up and people were dancing on the balconies and in the other rooms to them as well. The dance floor in front of the stage was packed, but the next room over had groups of people dancing to them as well and there was a lot more space there.

I really like that the place has so many nooks and seating areas, so it was easy to find a spot to take a break and chill out. I danced until 5 AM and was ready to keep going. What a great night!

Had a great time, people were nice, club is cool. Great music. Huge venue. Had a blast even though I got a little lost! :)

I really had a good time at Vision. The staff was all cool and really nice, the music was great and it wasn't difficult to move around or get drink even though it was a busy Saturday night. We got in for free which was sweet and made the experience even more worthwhile. Nice too because they're open so late.

the only night club that offers trance music. best producers and djs from all over the world are there every saturday . best music in the city . the skydome is cool . very cozy.

Hello..ever heard of R&B,Hip-hop, etc. the club is geared to only one crowd..but obviously would bring in more people if it provided a broader selection of music! Just a total waste of time..and money.Vison, please you must be BLIND
