We had a birthday party scheduled in advance. The staff had no idea what was going on. Doormen, to waitresses, to hosts, none were on the same page. They even required a second bottle purchase in order to get a bunch of friends in. Promoter said otherwise? They act standoff-ish just because they think that's how they're supposed to act in a nightclub. I went back for our credit cards (we forgot) and that took twenty minutes, before the place even opened. We spent a grand there, and got no service. They had me at the wrong table, kicked me out, no one knew what was going on. We had a dozen, fifteen people spending money like it wasn't green. Terrible.

I went out to Climax the other night with a bunch of my girl friends. We got a table and had a great time. Our server was very nice to us. The only thing I didn't really like was the music - it was a lot of mixes and dance/trance/techno music. We asked the DJ twice if he could change it up but he didn't. The place was very cool looking and had a great feel to it, but it was pretty dead. It needed more people!

My husband and I visited Climax this past Saturday night and had an awesome time! The music was perfect, and the space is really really cool...the antique fixtures and furniture were really spectacular and were an excellent way to add some large overscale elements to the space - and talk about amazing pieces!! The lighting fixtures that flank the bar are bigger than life, and the other pieces are gorgeous - the velvet high-back loveseat in the back bar...the leopart highback loveseat in the lounge, it was all beautiful!! If you are a trendy individual interested in beautiful spaces and design, this is a cool place to visit! We will definitely be back!

rude bouncers at the door!!! sometimes hard to get in. but once you get in ...hottest staff ever and it feels like a paradise full of hot women. the place on sat is about 60% women and i didnt see any bad looking ones!! plus great interior designing

Loved the space & the Crowd!!! The club is open, has a huge dance floor and is well lit. There is actually a place for people to sit that don’t have table service. There table service is awesome! Their table manager is readily available. There wasn’t any congestion and the bathrooms are nicely spaced away from the rest of the club. The ambiance and the Crowd is sexy, classy and tons of fun with great energy!! Our group of friends was so diverse (single males/females, married cpls, and some gay friends) and we all found other people to meet……talk to… I have been to almost all the new clubs on the scene - This is it!! Great location too! Drinks are priced just like anywhere else, but you get great service, great atmosphere and even better eye-candy all in one.

I have never written a review on Metromix but felt the need after visiting Climax on Friday night (not on my own accord). Some friends wanted to check it out and I will not be going back. It was 1 on a Friday and the place was not crowded at all. In addition the drinks were weak...WAY overpriced ($10 for a freaking well Whiskey and soda??). Not only that but they turned the lights on at 1:15 to kick us out and kept telling me to move to the front and leave without letting me enjoy my $10 drink. I will not be visiting again.

My boyfriend and I met a group of friends at your club on 11-10-07 and indulged in bottle service for the evening. The door staff was great in getting us in with absolutely no wait! As always, the interior is classy and elegant and the music was on point this particular night! Whoever the DJ was on Saturday night (11-10-07)...you were HOTT! Also...I love the fact that smoking was brought back into the club, as it was not an option when we attened the grand opening party! The addition of the girls dancing in the air on the ropes was all too hott! Nice touch Climax Lounge! Reminded me of Las Vegas...mmmm...There is nothing that we love more after a long week at work than to have a few coctails, listen to great music, and be surrounded by beautiful people! We will definately be back again!

I went here this past Saturday for the first time. I am from S. Florida and love fun and beautiful people. This place rocked! All the people were good looking, including the bouncers and the bartenders, music was amazing. Drinks were pricy, but did not pay a cover, so it was fine. The door guys were not as pretentious as I was told they were. I can't wait until my next trip to Chicago so I can climax and Climax lounge. LOVED IT!!! !

on guest list, showed up with 8 people all of us coupled... greeting at the door BLEW!.. they were like... sorry cant get in tonight, while people would just walk right by and get in. I was pissed cos i been going every weekend since it opened. So after much discussion outside, they finally get us to enter only find the place EMPTY with max 50 people. I love the decor, the music, but they are thinking they are more than what they really are... honestly now i think twice before going. Come on who you think you are, being right next door to baba palace! If they change attitude, this place could be better

The Climax Lounge-No rating... We were very disappointed. The Front Door personnel were very rude and lack customer service skills. I asked to see Roman. I explained to the door staff person that I was Roman's High School Basketball Coach and the St. Mary's Basketball Team from High School was here to surprise Roman. I was told Roman was no where to be found. I was instructed to get in line. Four minutes later Roman appeared at the front door.
We left and our party of 15 went to the Bella Lounge. Manager Billy and G.M. Ricky were great. They gave us a free line pass and free entrance to the club. We were treated like respectable customers. We told Ricky what happened at the Climax Lounge. Billy gave us a table and Ricky comped us a Bottle. There were hot chicks and the music was fantastic. We thought we were in Las Vegas. We closed the club down and were happy we found The Bella Lounge.

On a scale from 1 to 10-We gave them a 15.
