Cheesy clientelle. My title says it all. The place could have potential if it had a stricter dress code
Report This ReviewThis place was nowhere near what I expected for a River North so called hot spot. It was a saturday night and at 11pm, there was less than 40 people in the entire place including staff. Street parking was easy which should have been my first clue. It was $20 just to get in or $40 for the VIP area with limited free drinks (well). The inside was nicely decorated although I'm not sure what the deal is with all the chandeliers. The drinks are horrilby expenisive! Ten bucks for a red bull and vodka and it was "red bull" from the a tap. Staff/bartenders and waitresses left much to be desired in service and just overall maturity. Needless to say, we left soon after to a familiar place where we know we'll enjoy.
Report This ReviewI have to say I enjoyed my time at rednofive. I LOVED the scenery, very lavish, very romantic, slight vintage feel with the chandeliers and plush seating. I loved the feel of the crowd, and how my friends and I were promptly escorted inside. I didn't have time to socialize with the staff...was to busy dancing. They do have a stern professionalism, but it gave me a sense of security. I did not take it offensively because I am not a pain in the @$$ or a snob. Had a great time....will be going back sometime in the future. GOOD MUSIC!!
Report This ReviewFriday was my first and last time EVER attending this club. I have never been to an establishment where the employees are beyond rude and unprofessional. In particular, the head of security/club manager. This is definitely a club that needs to be trained in customer service.
Report This ReviewThsi place sucks, the staff was so rude and obnoxious, the only one I liked was the restroom attendant!
Report This ReviewThis place has to be the absolute worst bar/club/establishment in the great city of Chicago. Not only was the entire staff rude, but it was not the nicest crowd. There was a good sized line at the door and the bouncer was a complete you-know-what. When we finally made it through, our group was split up at the door and half of them weren't even allowed in. While inside it just was not what any of us expected. The place smelled and the music was not that great. Never going back.
Report This ReviewWell, I'd have to say that although Redno is NOT a place that I would frequent (after the ending of the great Thursday night parties of the summer), I am glad that I went there one night in the fall because I met someone INCREDIBLE. So no thanks to Redno for the overpriced/rated-ness of the venue, but thanks for my blessing and valentine! :-)
Report This ReviewI had a great expierence the music was great the drink selection was great the bartenders were great. I went with a group of ppl for a b-day party and everyone in the group had a great time. I recommend it for anyone who wants to let loose. there is two floors top dance floor and the lower floor were there are couches and the mood is relaxing if your not up to dancing. The GO-Go girls made almost every guy in the club stop and take another look. The staff is expeirence and pretty much they know how to treat the customers. The main bartender Rico was great he introduced himself and he didnt forget my name which was kind of cool.
Report This ReviewRednofive is possibly one of the WORST clubs in Chicago. Not only is the staff extremely rude, but it is unreasonably expensive ($20 cover). I was there for NYE, paid $75 for open bar 8-12, and because of the staff's poor organization skills, I along with hundreds of others was forced to wait outside in the freezing cold wasting an hour of my night and money. Rednofive made no attempts to alleviate these unbearable conditions, and made no apologies. It is clear that this bar has no consideration for its customers. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and if it were up to me, I'd shut it down.
Report This ReviewI got in with ease (within 10 minutes of arriving). The drink package of $40 for all liquor till 1am was awesome. I definitely got more than my monies worth within an hour of drinking. The crowd was pretty good too. There wasn't many snobby looking people at all. The wait to buy alcohol was very short (mainly because the bartender already learned my drink) and the drinks were strong.
The music wasn't bad either. They played hiphop all night with some techno for the earlier part of the night.
As much fun as I had at this place, I don't care for it too much. There's nothing outstanding about the place, its just like any other club in downtown.
