Sure, there are candles everywhere and there are some groovy strobes and stuff above the dance floor, but the predominantly black clothes and cosmetics coupled with the general malaise of the masses that gather here seem to create a black loud that overpowers any source of brightness.
Neo is not a large club; it's essentially a room where people dance, with a bar and a few tables around the perimeter. There are numerous TVs behind the bar that broadcast appropriately avant-garde film clips and videos.
If a sporting event ever appears on any of the screens here, it should be regarded as a sure sign of the coming apocalypse. Plan accordingly.

25+ and still going strong. One of the cities best dance floors. Great place to bring out of towners to see what is left of Chicago's Goth scene.
