Mix has gone through some changes over the years, but I think it is currently on the upswing. The food menu is really good- bar food with some style- and the waitstaff and bartenders are friendly and attentive. It's great to go on a Monday night for some great live music in an intimate front-room setting. The Monday $3 beer special is just another layer of frosting on the cake!

Food here is unbelievable. I hear they hired a new chef and the menu has changed completely. Great place to meet new people and grab some drinks. Will definitely be back.

It was OK.. thats all. It was pretty small in there, I could have gone to a local bar and had more fun. The service was great, but the music sucked. I swear while my girlfriends and I were dancing, Jock Jams came on, no joke! The place wasn't horrible, but I probably wouldn't go there again..

I always loved coming to MIX because of the great atmosphere, friendly staff, and the crowd always being attractive and the perfect age...not the underage crowd as most Lincoln Park venues have. Now it's even better because there has been alot of great live music acts playing there. Fridays they have awesome cover bands and some great original acts have been coming through and playing at MIX! I love live music, and coming from LA love an intimate Live Music venue, which this totally is. If you love great live music, great food, and good looking people I would DEFINATELY go. They also have great private party pakages and I have heard some great DJs there like Bliss and RicarDEAUX.

went to Mix for a friend's birthday bash. the dj sucked, the line at the bar was three deep all night, and even though I was only drinking soda I had to pay $30 to get in the door. even the swankiest bars in town don't serve $10 diet cokes. my friends and I won't be going back.
