Maryla Polonaise
- Neighborhood: Logan Square
- 3192 N. Milwaukee Ave.
- Chicago, IL 60618
- 773-545-4152
Located in the Polish "Jackcowo" community, Maryla attracts an ethnically diverse crowd of Polish- and Latin-Americans. ("Jackowo" is what Polish-Americans call this area.) The nice part about the club is that both groups attend the other's events, which vary from salsa to polka events. Outside, Maryla looks like a two-story wedding reception hall. (The upstairs above the nightclub is still used for wedding receptions.) The nightclub is done mostly in black and gray, and sleek with some electric colors used for accents. There is plenty of seating, but get there early because bar stools and tables fill up fast. The full-service kitchen serves Polish and Latin dishes. There is a separate but connected bar where patrons can enjoy pool, arcade games or sports TV or a quiet conversation.
