This is by far the most unique place to go have fun in Chicago. Where else do you get: Friendly staff..A dance floor with a combo of rock, punk, hip hop, FRIENDLY often good looking women that somtimes outnumber the guys. When friends are in town take them here!!
Report This ReviewThis bar rockes esp on Weds night. Upstairs is rock and metal. There is a pool table and pinball. The crowd is rock oriented alot of band members but not obnoxious. The drinks are super cheap a buck for PBR and 2 for Jameson. The DJ will let you go thru his music and pick songs how cool is that. So I say hit a Weds upstairs soon!
Report This ReviewCheck out the first floor of this place if you want to listen to INCREDIBLY LOUD and obnoxiously bad music (Usher, Black Eyed Peas, etc) while fighting your way to the bar for poor, slow service. The second floor is slightly better until the crowd grows to an obnoxious size (shortly after midnight), and they crank the music up to deafening levels up there.
Report This ReviewThis is the best bar for dancing in Chicago, if you like good music. This is a very underrated bar!!
Report This ReviewThe bar is way cool, the music can be good (depending on what night it is)...me, I like the ROCK! Very cool place overall, but the bartenders and staff can be arrogant jerks at times....
Report This ReviewThis is the most unique bar Ive found in a city full of pubs, trixie bars and sports bars. I would definitely recomend it, if you can handle it. Just a tip, no amount of money will buy the lamp behind the bar.
Report This ReviewIt's one of my favorite places in this city. A great bar, great crowd, the "staff" is fantastic. I've been spending (very modest) amounts of booze money here since 1996. My bar-going days are mostly behind me, but Liar's Club remains a favorite and one of the few bars where I'll still bring friends and out-of-town guests who don't want to drink appletinis with Trixies.
