Will never go back....

This place used to be one of the best in town (6 years ago). I went there this weekend and was surprised of how much it has changed. What surprised me the most is the staff's attitude! the bouncers are full of themselves and rude to the people who are coming in. First of all the place was "empty" and still the bouncers pretend it is a privilege to get in. Downstairs, security pretends to be so tough bartenders are rude and they have these buzz boys going around with brooms and flashlights checking the floors and bumping into you and your drinks. Annoying! Overall rating...very poor! the staff is REALLY rude! Get over it guys! this is no longer "the" place!

Poor Customer Service

I used to absolutely love Le Passage. It was new, had great bartenders, great music, and a great Chicago crowd. I went almost every weekend. I liked it so much, I planned my birthday party there! I Signed a contract with them and everything. Some "event coordinator" called me ten minutes before the start of my event to tell me that they accidentally double booked. Thats it, left me and my 30 guests stranded on my birthday night. They offered no compensation, and only apologized after i wrote email after email to their management. Le Passage couldve gone to great heights if they had worked on their HORRIBLE customer service. They are NOT the only club in chicago, they need to realize that. Clubs come and go all the time, if they keep up the horrible customer service, they wont be around long.

One of the best in the city

If you are looking for a comfortable, beautiful club to party the night away at, with a friendly staff, great music and good drinks you can't get much better than this - and it's located in the Gold Coast! I've been to a lot of clubs all over the globe and Le Passage still remains one of my favorites. You'll be hard pressed to find anything better anywhere in Chicago.

The Drawing Room
By Bob Risgliano from Logan Square, December 3, 2008

My girlfriend and I went down to The Drawing Room last week. I have heard about this place from friends and it came highly recommended, and where they right! As you walk down the beautiful stairs and enter the room the ambiance is incredible. It looks too beautiful in here to believe. We were seated by the General Manager, Erik I think, and were served by Sergio. They were both top notch. I had the Nooner Cocktail and my girlfriend had the 42 Bee Stings to start. The master Mixoligist Tim made the drinks table side! It was incredible the knowledge they poses was amazing. We both shared 6 plates, The Burgers, Korean BBQ, Bacon2, Fish and Chips, Potato Flight, and Grilled Shrimp. They all were fantastic our server also recommended cocktails to pair with what we were eating. If you are planning on going here please take your time to enjoy the full experience. Try as many plates as you can handle and have all of the cocktails! My girlfriend and my self will be back soon.

i went there last night never hearing of hte place - i was thoroughly impressed especially by the staff, our bartender and waitress were very passionate and knowledgeable about the liquors and food, and the liquors selection was the most exotic and impressive i have ever been to anywhere in the world - the drinks were unique and variety was second to none - great date place, or place to catch up with a friend - highly recommend checking this place out

My wife and I had dinner there last Saturday night. WHHHHHOOOOAAAAA!

THIS MAY HAVE BEEN THE BEST DINING EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD IN CHICAGO.... and my dinner at The Drawing Room was less expensive than my lunch at The Boundry earlier in the day. A FIVE STAR DINING EXPERIENCE. THE FOOD. THE SERVICE. THE ROOM. A culinary gem! The best kept secret in this city.

I'm sure this secret will eventually get out.... but, do yourself a favor... EAT AT THIS PLACE!!!!!

LOVE

I never use this word mostly because I feel like it is thrown around too loosely, especially today. But i LOVE this place! I went a few nights ago (mostly because Gavin Rossdale was stopping by, and well, I had to meet him!) The staff was super nice, and it was really relaxed (the door guy said that they had a new Casual Sunday since there were new promoters), and there was only a small section that they roped off in the corner for Gavin, but Gavin was soo nice that the rope came down and took pictures with all of his fans. Overall, great experience with friendly staff, good drinks, eats and peeps.

SOO GOOD!

Every one knows LE PASSAGE as the nightclub but their previous vip area has turned into a restaurant. And what a great change!!! This was probably the best meal i've had in a long time.
We started off with a bottle of Piniot Noir ... The portions are on the smaller size so this way you don't have to settle on one dish you can try many because they all sound so delicious. So we ordered the steak frites, oysters, Korean bbq (unbelievable!!), Fish and chips, and mini burgers. And we were soo full but couldnt resist dessert so we had this dish called chocolate!!!
The service was also great the server was very attentive to our needs, kept refilling the wine glasses when we were low clearing the table promptly. And the chef even came over to see how everything was and explained to us that he was the only one in the kitchen cooking everything, and we were stunned!!
Overall it was an amazing experience and will defiantly be back for more!

the drawing room is a great place to come with your girlfriends or a date to begin your pre-partying. super sexy and you can get cheap bottles of wine (under $30). the last time i was there my girlfriends and i drank 3 bottles. we went to le passage after and had a great time! management was super nice and treated us like VIPS. le passage is alot better now with the new owners, not as cheesy as before.

Fun if you ignore the people who work there

Hear is a reality check to the people that work there..... you are a door man or a bartender the people who come there have money to spend but your attitude sucks I would be fired if I ever talked to clients the way I am treated when I get there. FYI this is not the only club in Chicago so get over yourself.
