Ok so I was totally expecting this club to be jumping. Not at all, it's definitely an older crowd. not like 25 and up like 33-35 and up! It's a huge club plenty of room but a lot of 80s, and 90s music. I was just hoping it would be a little sexier than it was. I went on a Saturday night a night the club should have been on and poppin. I would suggest this club to someone younger looking for some people a little closer in age than boyishly gray men. I just don't think i will be visiting this place again unless they are having a special night that I can identify with.

I wouldn't suggest this bar....

I wouldn't suggest this bar. I was told the dress code was "no tennis shoes, no jerseys, and no baseball hats." My friends wore Khaki shorts and they wouldn't let them in (by the way, the waitresses wear Khaki shorts and flip flops). When they came back they told us his pants were too baggy. Service was horrible, our waitress never came and asked if we wanted more drinks. Nasty old men everywhere! Not worth the expense!

Ive been going to Excalibur off and on since 98'..at first back then it was really a cool place to be at on fri/sat..at one point I was hook'd that I was going thu-sat..lol..now its really gotten not so hip..so many tourists and scarce crowd..Ive gone on a saturday around midnight and hardly anyone there...so, if your just downtown and you wanna chkout some place for less ppl, decent music then excalibur is the place to be..however, the skits that they stop and do are so played out now...Can u imagine getting into the groove of a song and then all of sudden you hear "everyone off stage"..come on that so irritating and a waste...chk it out yourself..you'll see..lol

what happened to this place?...

what happened to this place? tourists saturate the place along with overaged women who never get out. starved divorcees. i was there on a friday. not fun at all. my studio has been occupied by more people than this club on friday. do something alacarte, chicago doesn't need cheap tourists and eurotrash and starved older women and ghetto people. make excalibur what it used to be!
