FIX THE SODA PROBLEM

They have soda but is very very sweet and flat no CO2. What is up with that??? Why don't they fix the problem. Or is it that you just want people to drink liquior??? This is an issue if you are the designated driver becasue there only water as an option. Wow you guys are really cheap or you are lossing money on soda sales!

This place is just like being on campus during Michigan games, with standing room only and everyone wearing last season's football t-shirts. However, if you're just looking to drop in for lunch someday, go someplace else. Food is average, and not outstanding prices. They seem to have great specials day-to-day, so maybe just go when those are in effect.

I have gone to Duffy's for 2 Sunday's in a row. The good: you can't beat the brunch buffet price and all you can drink mimosas. The okay: they play very loud music until right before kickoff and every commerical. The ugly: THEY TURNED OFF THE GAME!! The turned off the sound of the game because they thought it was a blowout. There is 5 minutes left in the game, why they couldn't keep the sound on was way beyond me. If you are a true Bears fan and want to actually watch and hear the WHOLE game, Do not go there!

Ok...so I know it's a sports bar-but the food here is awesome! I just went here last Saturday around 11am and although it's MI football season, and it was pretty busy... the bartenders were very attentive and helpful. Not only were they nice...but they were cracking me and my friends up with their antics. Keep up the good work Duffys- I know I'm coming back!!

My Friends and I love to go to duffys on Wednesdays and Fridays they have the best deals.. On Wednesday $1 bud light drafts and an 80's cover band you can't beat that.. Friday $20 all you can drink from 6:30-11:00!! We love the staff they are all really nice and we love how after 9 it turns into more of a dance club then a sports bar.. Its awesome at duffys and we always have a reallly good time..

Duffy's has the best hummus I have ever had in my life! I know what you're thinking...who goes to a bar for hummus? Well once you have tried it, you will understand! Their brunch is definitely the best I have been to for your local neighborhood brunch. It has such a wide variety and it's all above par!

Duffy's is a great place to catch the game during the week, as it has about 70 42" tv's on every wall, but the highlight of the weekend (Champaign Brunch) has been tarnished. The have stopped allowing people to make their own drinks and now force you to order them from your waitress, which cuts you drinks in half due to slow service on really busy mornings. I can't imagine the waitresses like the new policy either, but the fun has definitely been removed from Sunday Mornings.

I recently moved from my old hood to east Lakeview. I have to say I have been really impressed with Duffy's week night entertainment and food specials. Tuesday's $1 burgers and $3 imports is quite a deal! And most of the time the bands on Tuesdays are pretty good. My only grip is that on Friday and Sat nights the crowd can be pretty young and immature. Also, it is annoying that their are no stools at the back bar on those nights.

When I first lived in Chicago I used to love this place, and not just because I'm a MI alum. Aside from watching games there Duffy's used to be one of my favorite places to drink on a Friday night- good crowd, good drinks and the bartenders were so entertaining. When I moved back to Chicago last month this was the first place I wanted to go on Friday night. I couldn't believe how much it's changed! I've been back twice since I moved home and each time it's been awful. They've lost that thing that separates them from the rest of the Lincoln Park bars full of 20 somethings. Getting a bartender's attention was impossible, almost worse than trying to find our waitress, out of five drinks I ordered two were wrong and the bartender who was serving us was more interested in her nails than she was her patrons. Duffy's used to have a good thing goin on but now it's just not worth it.

I don't usually write these things but after my experience here on Friday I almost have to. I realize that this is a sports bar and that it's a typical LP crowd but come on. My girlfriend ordered a Cosmo and the clueless, crabby bartender had no clue how to make it. After asking two of the other bartenders she was with, she finally came up with this concoction that I swear had Malibu rum in it. With so many other bars like this, why waste your time here?
