from Cocktail is an inviting neighborhood bar with more than a touch of dance-club playfulness. Crowds are diverse, and everyone seems more into dancing and socializing than posturing. Complete with black crystal chandeliers, the front room holds an onyx-lit bar (imported from Greece) and a swank seating area where music is kept mercifully low for cocktailing and easy conversation. In the back, the volume is cranked up for dancers, who pack the place seven nights a week, swaying to the selections of featured DJs or the latest grooves from London and New York.
