I hadn't gone to 720's in a while, so i went like 2 weeks ago and they totally changed it, there used to be so much variety they used to have the lower level with house and reggeaton, main level was like all the popular music, 2nd floor was for all the latins that loved the salsa and merengue, and the 3rd was mostly hip hop and urban music. This last time i went, it was so lame, it was just the main floor and the second level that was open, the crowd was really young and there wasn't much of a crowd at that. I was so dissapointed.

I went there recently, and it is not how it used to be. It is only 2 floors, not much variety of music. Not worth the 20 dollar cover charge. I suggest going somewhere else.

I recently checked out club 720 with my friends and I can honestly say that we had a great time. They have a great variety of music, the service is good, and the place looks great. I'll definitely be returning.

Having visited their twice, their multiple floors of a variety of music genres allows dancers to mix it up all through the nite. I had a blast.

are you kidding people!?
I waited and waited in line, got in and there was hardly anybody in there. Makin us wait? For what? The place looks cool. But the music sucked, and the drinks were waaay to hard to get. And I even got the wrong one.
One of the worste experiences at a club for me ever.
place looks cool and has potential, but management needs a MAJOR change.
won't be back!

Worst place ever, horrible customer service, long wait, very unfriendly staff, doubt they will last very long, save your money, time, and night avoid this place at all costs

Club 720 has the typical Chicago crowd, which consists of people going out to be entertained. Latin dance is a shared experience where you are part of the entertainment. People are too worried about eye candy than having their dancing act together. It is rare to find enough good dancers to keep the night fun. Chicago has a lot to learn about having fun. Having 4 floors and trying to out-do other people in other cities is not fun. It is stupid one-upmanship. Ok. You have 4 boring floors rather than only 1? I even waited 1/2 hour on line and then the female on the door wanted to charge me an entrance fee. Give me a break! The Copa, in New York, invented that long line thing. If you are going to imitate it, do it right!

For 20$ this place is a rip off. The salsa room is tiny with few salsa dancers. Mostly people were gawking and the "dancers" were stepping and tripping everyone up. The worst part was the DJ. He just played 10 salsa songs then 10 bachata then 10 merengue in a never ending cycle. The sound system sucked worse than my laptop's. The DJ should just let songs play on his iPod instead of "mixing" because he really is just trashing the music.
The other floors were boring. This place made me yawn.

My friends and I checked out 720 this saturday for my birthday, the only thing pleasant was valet. For a $20 cover and all drinks and shot being $10 you would think the service would be better. The bartenders were extremely rude and the same music was being played from one floor to the other. My friends and I will not be returning.

Poor entrance. You have a valet in white t-shirts that want to take my car from me. and wait for over 20 minutes to take it. Then 15 minutes at the door. Then $20 to get in. I think you belong in Vegas. Rip off. No thanks. Take notes from Rumba. They are down the block from you.
