Great Food, cheesy rooms

If you are looking for a great meal, 115 Bourbon Street will satisfy your craving. If you are looking for a great place to catch up with friends over a few cocktails, you would be better off in your backyard. Between the cover bands that play in two rooms and the ridiculous "club", the only place that you can actually talk is the beergarden. I have lived in this neighborhood my entire life. When 115 Bourbon Street opened, it was the place to be, it was fun and unlike any other bar. Now, it looks like an amusement park filled with aging singles and low class twenty something's. Nothing there has changed in the 8 or 9 years they have been open. The service there is good, but it appears as though the waitresses are over worked. One downfall of the food service is that tables stay messy and dirty because there are very few bussers. My husband and I enjoy meals there, but now thats about it. Go for lunch or a game and leave before 9.

Great Atmosphere, Terrible Service

This is the place on the south side of the city to hang out in the summer. The beer garden is great, and so is the sports bar. The only draw back is the awful service from the servers. The youthful, yet attractive staff is more concerned with each other than the customers having a full drink or the correct food order. Once they can get the service down, the place will be great, but until then, it just another bar.

The only good thing about Bourbon is you get what you pay for. The cheap cover should say it all.

My main problem is in the dance area. The club part sucks. I've been to bourbon countless times when I was in undergrad and they are STILL playing the same mixes (Castles in the Sky, Madona, etc). The people that are in there don't really dance so I don't get why they're there. The people that do dance don't really know how to dance, talk about a double wammy. The guys are all hornballs who try and hump everything that moves.

Everything else about Bourbon is good. You got the sports bar, beer garden, etc. The staff and service is decent.

This place is the best in Chicago.. and seriously I dont care what other people say. You gotta go to this place and see for your self.. very friendly crowd.. lot sof nice gals.. very friendly service.. simply amazing!!

We went there for an early dinner with 4 kids and it was great for us. We had plenty of room at our table for the 6 of us. The waitress was quick, fast, and didn't roll her eyes to the fact we were first timers. Our food was really great. My husband's dish had a ton of shrimp in it he couldn't believe it. some places you go to just give you enough shrimp just to get by. Will defintely go back. Not sure how the night life thing is but people were defintely showing up early to find there spot. All around seems like a great place.

I've lived 5 blocks from Bourbon all my life and since I've been going about 5 years ago I honestly can say for 5 bills you get 2 bands, a sports bar, a beer garden, a DANCE CLUB (WOOOOOO), 2 vip sections, a bar behind the club.... what else can you ask for.... its flat out the best spot in IL period.... i've been to a lot and for what you get its awsome... how many times have you spent 30-40 bucks for 1 band and it sucks.... well not here.... you get it all and then some... plus thursdays is 1.50 beers so its all good........ #1 IN IL CHECK IT OUT
