Jon Young, the brains behind Kitsch'n on Roscoe teamed up with chef Stephen Dunne, who did stints at MK and Spago, to open this Roscoe Village wine bar. The seasonal American menu features rotating small plate offerings, with an emphasis on organic and local food products. Choices might include heirloom tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella and basil vinaigrette or roasted filet of sole, with sweet peas, fava beans and fiddlehead ferns. The menu offers wine pairing suggestions, and the international wine list includes detailed descriptions for the wannabe sommelier. Glass pour options are offered by the carafina (about a third of a bottle) and flights. The vineyard-influenced rear patio features cabanas, chaise lounges and a weathered barn.
