The Grille Worst in Highwood

The worst restaurant in Highwood. Service: non-existent. Soup served without a plate under the bowl and now crackers or bread. Had to ask for both. Ordered a bowl but the waiter brought a cup. Absolutely no garnishment on an $18 plate of highly processed salmon. Asked for sauce on the side but was delivered cooked onto the fish. No atmosphere. Slow service. Expensive entrees which can be purchased anywhere else for half the price. Bizarre décor. No bus boys. How is this restaurant still in business given the recession?

kids running amok

Maybe it was an off night but my family sat towards the front of the restaurant and there was non stop traffic - kids running back and forth while their parents didn't seem to care. The food was ok but not cheap by any measure. Service was fine. The beer selection was just okay as well. If I want a cheap burger with kids running around then I'll go to Buffo's instead and pay half as much for food and drink that is just as good.

Nice casual atmosphere,
ribs were great, wife liked the skirt steak and the chocolate bundt cake
was outstanding. Great martini too!
