The Cellar Bistro
4.4
Comfy leather couches, upholstered chairs and tables flanked with benches make this chic wine bar a comfy hangout. Wheatonites can stop in for Lavazza espresso and dessert, a glass of wine and assorted cheeses, or uncork a bottle and make a meal out of several small plates. A prosciutto and four-cheese torta is served with fruit and garlic rounds, while pesto and cheese-stuffed mushrooms are paired with tomato foccacia. Pizza topped with pan-seared veggies and mushroom-brie soup also sound like delectable choices. There's an emphasis, also, on organic wines and liquors, and the bar also stocks local brews from Warrenville's Two Brothers. Non-alcoholic drinks include Blue Sky organic ginger ale, organic blood-orange juice and Italian limonata and aranciata sodas.
