From the people behind Bar Louie and Nick and Tony's comes this contemporary American brasserie, helmed by chef Todd Davies, formerly of Rosebud Steakhouse and Mossant Bistro. Located in the new UBS Tower at the corner of Wacker Drive and Madison Street, One North is done up in mahogany wood, slate and stone with modern art, curtain-lined walls and an illuminated wine case. A cushy lounge offers a place to grab a drink while viewing the action in the open kitchen. Business people can grab a quick breakfast or lunch to go, or sit a spell in the dining room. Options include soups, salads, fish, meat and chicken, pasta, and sandwiches. Highlights include duck risotto, Alaskan halibut and spit-roasted chicken.
