Taste America Restaurant Group, whose stable includes Lloyd's Chicago, Catch 35 and The Tasting Room at the Randolph Wine Cellars, runs this wine bar in the lobby of the NBC Tower. Cityfront features an extensive international wine list, with about 20 by the glass offerings, plus a selection of about 30 premium vodkas and a signature martini list. Customized wine flights are available and staffers will help the wine-phobic negotiate the eclectic list. The wine-friendly menu offers build-your-own artisan cheese and charcuterie plates, plus sharable small plates like coconut crusted-shrimp, mini kobe beef burgers, thin crust pizzas and chicken skewers. The cozy lounge, which is a popular hangout for both NBC employees and Michigan Avenue shoppers, offers both couch and table seating.
