Bad service- average food

Friday nite in May- Cubs on tv, but out of town. Place is empty but for a few couples. Kept having to switch out chairs with broken, plastic armrests- annoying and dangerous.
Lackadasical service- more interested in chatting with themselves or watching the tv. Waitresses do not help each other out- annoying when yours disappears.
For a wings place, they were small in size compared to similar establishments and the medium were very mild. Not cheap, especially for the product. Paying for the real estate.

I see all the complaints about this bar being out of date and really it ticks me off. Get over it some people don't need a new plasma in their face every time you turn around. I go out to mingle and drink and this is what this place is set up for. They have great specials for food and drinks and there is plenty of room to move around. And for all you that need new plasmas, go check out their new enclosed patio.

I stopped going here a while back ago and decided to drop by and see if the place had gotten any better. Man they have improved. The patio is bad ass now, with plasma tv's down one side and even has a full-service bar on the patio. Must be new ownership. Still no credit cards but I will go back anyways. I missed the Wings.

There are far better bars in Wrigleyville than this place. Not worth the expensive drinks and expensive bar food, especially since bars within a block offer something better. TV's are full of ads around them, instead of a full screen for the game. Don't go here!

After leaving the Cubs game in search of good wings, we entered Yak-Zies which turned out to be a big mistake. The owners skimp out on tv's, air condition, and customer service. We ordered a plate of Chicken Wings and received a plate of Smurf wings (smallest wings I have ever seen). When it came time to pay our bill, we could not find the waitress for quite sometime. After finding her, she informed us that the establishment is 'Cash Only'. This place needs alot of work !

I should of relaized that there was a reason this place was empty on a friday night. I went because on the website they advertiseed $2 drafts. When I asked what was the special, it didn't match. They did not honer the websdite. I ordered a run of drinks and the tex chicken pizza. I was very disappointed with the pizza. The generic brand at Jewel would of been better. The watress was not accomidating. Attitude was it is what it is and I can't do anything about it. the staff had very poor attitude and overall I did not have a good experience.

First thing is first, they really need to update their TVs and with their $9 quesadillas (which has four pieces) it shouldn't be hard! Another thing, what bar doesn't accept credit cards? Well apparently Yakzies doesn't. So once again, they should take the money from their overpriced food and use the money they save from not running credit cards and at least update their old school tube TVs. On a good note, we had decent waitstaff and there were good drink specials.

I was here last week, and my friends and I left after the waitresses were audibly talking about our table. They were doing shots with the bartender even though our drinks were empty and then threw us an attitude after we went up to the bartender for drinks after they clearly weren't going to wait on us. Oh, and the wings were minute.

If they would update some of the tv's right when you walk in it would be better and in the back-

Good bar food, decent specials, have a large covered patio for when it's warm-

This is a cash only bar so be prepared, there is a Bank of America machine down the street and they have their own ATM's there but a high fee-

Where does this place find their employees? I have tried this place a handful of times now, and the service is always awful. The bartenders are a joke. It's so much for fun at Yakzie's on Diversey. Maybe they should do all the hiring.
