Yeah Butch's! Yeah Jo!

We always have such a great time! Beat the 2 am crowd and come well before the 5 am closing time. All the servers we've gotten have been immensely talented - carrying arm-loads of drinks at once, remembering dozens of drink orders perfectly, getting us our orders FAST, and still joking with us and making sure we have a good time. We love the waitress Jo... Butch's has got a little comedian!

I've only been here two times and both times I've walked out with a date for the next weekend! This place is awesome! It's super fun and laid back. Go!

The only thing here worthwhile is the atmosphere. Service stinks, food is avg at best. Too many good bars in Chicago to waste your time here.

Tis the season and what better place to be than Butch's. I avoid the trendy spots and experience the friendly holiday atmosphere with some of the best food in town. As it is quoted on the menu it is more fun to eat in a saloon than to drink in a restaurant. don't miss the holiday decorations.

This is one of my favorite staples of the Rush/Division area. The food is typical bar fare, but homemade and delicious (in my humble opinion, the best reuben in the city!). The service is a welcom change from the nonexistent or nonchalant presence at other bars on the street. After drinking the draft beer served in frosty mugs, I can't bear to drink it anywhere else. It does get a little too packed on the weekends, so I try to steer clear then, but it's cozy and quiet the rest of the time. A good spot to escape the snobby neighborhood or loud clubs that surround it.
