VLive closed the weekend of Oct. 16-18 due to a shooting at the club the morning of Oct. 15. The reopens at 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22.
Located above Logan Square's Fuego Mexican Grill and Margarita Bar, this live music venue and nightclub features bookings by VLive, Aragon and LiveNation. In the cocktail lounge, you'll find former Metromix Best Bartender finalist John Kinder behind the bar. He's created a list combining vintage-inspired classics with fresh and fruity concoctions, so you'll find a Manhattan and Morning Glory Fizz alongside the Concert Haze, a blend of tequila, Campari, grapefruit and passion fruit juices. Head upstairs from there to the main club, a cavernous wood-floored space that opens at 11 p.m. and brings its headlining DJ acts in around 1a.m. In both the lounge and the club, there are plenty of booths for bottle service clients -- plus separate rooms just for VIPs.
