My fiance and I went here for dinner on a Friday night because of the rave reviews I'd read. I should have known something was wrong when the place was completely empty at 7pm. Our cocktails were extremely cheap but also extremely weak. The quality of the meat and produce was terrible. Our waitress was pleasant but couldn't answer any questions about ingredients or how the dishes were prepared. The whole experience was just ghastly.

Let's get right into the nitty-gritty.

They have a variety of little dishes ranging from divine dark brown sauce (think beef & broccoli) to other sweet & sour, seasame favorites. The fried rice is excellent as a meal in itself (shrimp and beef are best).

I can also say, with no doubt in my mind, that they have the best eggrolls on earth! Try them with some sweet & sour sauce for a little taste of heaven.

That's what dining at Tong's is like. Speaking of which... dining-in is a must. My first time i said WOW, what an atmosphere. Think Hawaii, think Polynesian Resort on the Disney World grounds and you'll have an idea of what it's like there. A little dated (probably decorated in the late 70s/early 80s), but it still charms all who enter their doors to be greeted by an indoor Buddha fountain (your kids will be mesmerized).

This is the best Chinese Food out there and the owners and staff are wonderful!!!! I will not have Beef Lo Mein from any other place then here and I drive all the way from Melrose to Villa Park for Chinese food. Also, try their BoBo Tray it is fantastic!!!! I have been coming here for 15yrs! Great food!
