Part of the retail and bar complex that includes Syn (which closed for remodeling in February 2007), the piano bar exudes a more laid-back atmosphere than its neighbors. The intimate setting of small tables and scattered barstools complements the live music: usually a jazz trio with a crooner in front singing old favorites. Photos of celebrities and athletes adorn the walls, and many have been known to stop by from time to time. On warm days the large bay windows open up to let the music waft out onto Rush Street.
