The food was delicious! I highly recommend the spinach and artichoke fondue for an appetizer. The ambience at Wildfire is cozy and cool with low-key lighting, a blazing fire in the dinning room, and swing music playing throughout the restaurant. To get the full experience of Wildfire make sure you request seating in the main dinning room (the side room lacks in charm). On the downside, Wildfire is notorious for double booking. Even with a reservation be prepared to wait to get a table. For my first visit I waited for a half hour to be seated, and for my second visit my party and I waited an hour before being seated. Wildfire is worth your time only if you are willing to wait…and wait…and wait….

I am a Native Chicagoan and this is the BEST restaurant ever. The food is cooked to perfection and the ambiance is BEAUTIFUL. Despite the fact that Chicago is known to be a rude city the service is always on point. I LOVE Chicago nightlife and this restaurant will always be one of my favorites. If you want to impress someone trust me you need to bring them to Wildfire.

We have been here several times. It doesn't matter if it is just the two of us or if it is ten. We always have an excellent time. Not one time in the last 7 years have we had a negative experience here.

The food is good, and the price is right. If you are a frequent diner and don't want to have to pay a lot for a good meal, this is the place to go. I've also been to their Oak Brook location, which is equally as good. Great scene for a drink after work too!

I've been to Wildfire on Erie several times, and have never had anything but a great experience. The portions are huge, so keep that in mind when you order dishes to share. The chopped salad is outstanding, but the small is plenty for 4 adults. The service can be slow at times, but there is never a shortage of waitstaff in the area, able to help if you need it. I highly recommend Wildfire.

Im not sure if its because we were a small party of young women, but it took 20 mins for waitress just to take our drink order and even longer took get them. The food was sub-par and definitely not worth the hassle it took to get it to our table. The only thing that saved the experience was the unexpected table of gentlemen from across the restaurant that bought our dinner, because it sure as hell wasn't worth my dollar. There are plenty of other restaurants in Chicago, don't patronize this one.

Went on a Monday and this place was still pretty full. Many seemed to be tourists. The food is good(nothing spectacuar). We had steaks which were cooked perfectly to order. Desserts were also good.

Wildfire is, in a word, consistent. You can count on great service and food. I've never had a bad experience there. In fact, the more I go, the better things seem to get. It's tough to avoid the crowds here, it's always packed, and for good reason.
