Glenn Taylor, a former CPA who learned to brew beer in his basement, took his hobby public by opening this Lombard brewing company and restaurant in 1999. Offerings include the Rusty Dog Ale, Raspberry Wheat and Route 56 Light Ale, a pilsner named after Butterfield Road. The appetizer menu includes polished bar food faves, from mozzarella triangles and buffalo wings to spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips. The main menu includes gourmet burgers, soups and chili, sandwiches and several steak and seafood options.

Awful food, even worse service. We tried it cause it advertised free kids meals on Sundays. They would have to pay me to eat there again.
