i had probably the best crab cake of my life here for brunch. i hate the deep fried ones you find elsewhere. these are light and full of flavor. they just started serving brunch and i will be spending most of mine here. plus the irish bartenders are hilarious with the banter they have with the regulars.

this pub is a great place to watch some football and grab a pint with the friends. i always feel like i know everyone at the bar and it has a great local feel early in the evenings. college night seems like it will be fun as more people hear about it.

This is a great Irish bar. I have been there a bunch of times and it has become one of my boyfriend and my favorite places. The salmon is delicious and the atmosphere is great. You truely get the feel that you are in an Irish bar. The staff was very friendly and the music was very good. I definately recommend this bar for anyone who wants good food and a great irish pub.

I was really excited to visit Atlantic, but it was a huge disappointment. We seated ourselves and were ignored for a solid 10 minutes before a woman from behind the bar bothered to bring us menus and take our drink order. We should have walked out because the Guinness was not worth the trouble. It was poored correctly, but tasted like tin. The music was blaring. Not many poeple in there. Strange vibe. Bad Guinness. Bad service.
Report This ReviewGreat atmosphere, and we found some good deals on the menu.
Now all of us on the north side of Lawrence have a place where we can watch the FA Cup in the morning, then bring a date in the evening.
Glad to see you in the neighborhood.
hi
went to atlantic bar & grill to check before st patrick's day and did i get a surprise.
my family and i were thrilled. we have been in every bar in town but this was something new for 2007 . irish staff . real irish cuscomer's and the food was to die for . the place is pure class. staff were great and over all best new place in town. went back st patrick's day to find some family from ireland.
best new place. this is a must go.
I went to the Atlantic on Friday with my husband and some friends for a fish fry. I was not disappointed. Beer battered and fried perfectly, the fish was delicious and flakey. They had an excellent tartar sauce that we used to for the fish and the fries.
Only complaint? It took almost a half an hour to get our food. They definitely have a small kitchen and a large group ordered right while we were sitting down. Not a big deal, but we were all beyond starving when our food was finally brought out.

GOOD PLACE TO BRING YOUR FAMILY OR CO WORKERS. 4 STAR
A welcome addition to the neighborhood, perfect spot for casual drinks during the week or late night on the weekends. Excellent comfort food, especially the Friday fish special. Very friendly staff full of stories and personality, we will be back.
