Beer menu tops 200. Sliders are awesome. The beer float tops it off.
Report This ReviewExpensive, but edible food. Beer variety is wide. Beer specials are the way to go.
Report This ReviewThis bar is a perfect combination of a great beer selection and West Loop style sans the pretentiousness of other places. The bartenders give decent recommendations, the food is good and the beer selection is satisfying. The review about the prices rang true with me! Lots of good beer, but it is kind of annoying when you think your beer is worth about 6 dollars and it costs 8. Not a big deal though.
Report This ReviewFantastic beer menu, although be careful, I ordered one from Belgium that was $9, and I only know because I asked beforehand. The food is really good, simple but very flavorful. I enjoy stopping in before Hawks/Bulls games.
Report This ReviewWhen I have a sluggy day of work and school, I go to the beer bistro first, then go home with a grin. I take my friends from the suburbs here the morning after a night of drinking. There bloody marys are excellent and customizable, and they turned me on to bannana bread beer.
GO BANNANA BREAD BEER!
Report This ReviewAs residents of the neighborhood, my wife and I have become regulars at Beer Bistro. There are many places to choose from when we go out, but Bistro is near the top of our list. I rate the food as excellent, both in choices and quality. The beer selection is large and delicious. The daily food specials cut down on the cost of a visit, but remember, you're hanging out in one of Chicago's hottest neighborhoods, so the prices seem relative. We've never had a bad experience with the staff, and we have friends from as far away as Aurora that are repeat customers at Beer Bistro because they... like us, have always enjoyed the food, drinks, and experience.
Report This ReviewOne of the Best places for lunch in the West Loop. Sure, one of the only places, but hey - cant beat the food specials.
Report This ReviewI keep going back to this place just because its across the street from my house. However, there are absolutely no prices on the beer menu or the beer board. If you are going to have drinks ranging from $4-$10 per pint, you need to let the customer know that! The waitstaff never tells you that. The $2 burgers are a great deal, but they get you on the fries! Seriously, if you are charging $10 per drink, you could throw those potatoes in for free. The pizza has been hit or miss. Sometimes great, sometimes burnt, sometimes undercooked. Not a lot of consistency here!
Report This ReviewGreat place for beer loving couples who enjoy trying new brews.
Report This ReviewI live and work in the West Loop and we have needed a place like this for YEARS!
I am happy The Beer Bistro is now here, and they cater to the neighborhood with the food specials. Some staff could be a little friendlier, but they are all nice. Probably the best happy hour crowd outside the loop in the city.
