The Art Deco-inspired, multi-room complex houses eight bowling lanes, six regulation-size pool tables, a small dining room, around a dozen flat-screen TVs and some video games. Smart details like wooden bar stools and vintage posters and light fixtures set this spot's ambience a notch above that of similar establishments, although ''Friends'' castoffs tend to fill the place on Friday and Saturday nights (the scene is less like a sitcom during the week). The menu includes pizzas, quesadillas, salads and sandwiches. Two full bars serve up a drink selection that includes 40 bottled beers (import and domestic), 15 tap beers, a small selection of single malt scotches and a sizable martini list. The wait for bowling or billiards can get rather long on weekend nights, so come early to get a lane ($20-$30 per hour) or a pool table ($15-$20 per hour). Seven Ten has an adult atmosphere, but days and Sundays can be mellow enough for family outings.

(Following a city-wide contest, what was once The Lucky Strike announced its new moniker--Seven Ten Lounge--at a 10th Anniversary celebration on Aug. 26, 2005.)

This place isn't bad, but it's too hard to get a bowling lane. if you don't have a private party, don't expect to get a lane on a weekend evening....

"What a shame..."

By Chicity Resident from Chicago, January 17, 2008

Weekend night was ruined by bad service and rudeness by the staff. Place looked fun and promising, but, it just wasn't worth our 2 hours of wait...
